Process Cooling & Heat Recovery Systems
Energy Efficient Industrial Solutions
Many processes within industrial production lines require heat transfer and energy dissipation throughout the year. At integratedAIR Systems we understand these processes and their importance in ensuring that production continues to work effectively and efficiently.
Different climates pose unique challenges, with some requiring systems to be more energy efficient than others. These processes are often required in a variety of industries, from food and beverage manufacturers to industrial and chemical companies and beyond.
Whatever the work climate, integratedAIR Systems has a solution. We provide process cooling and heat recovery solutions that transfers energy from one process so it can be utilised elsewhere within the production sequence. It’s something we’ve been doing for well over two decades, ensuring businesses have the right equipment in place to maximise the full potential of their systems.

How Do Process Cooling and Heat Recovery Systems Work?
Industrial process cooling occurs when a medium such as water or a water-based lubricant is required for a specific process to keep it at a set temperature, allowing it to operate safely and efficiently. Heat is typically removed when the process media is pumped through a heat exchanger.
The conduction process then comes into effect. Cold water on a separate pumping circuit is pumped through the heat exchanger in the opposite direction, with heat then transferred to the cool water through a series of thermal conducting plates. The opposing flows are not mixed as only the energy is being transferred from them.

Heat Removal
Removing this heat from the process means the heat must be dissipated elsewhere, be it directly into the atmosphere via an air blast cooler, chiller or water tower. Preferably, the energy can be used elsewhere for a process that may require the opposite energy transfer, such as a process that may need heating.
For example, one such process could be the return flow of a boiler. There are many opportunities for reusing energy within the industrial sector, and these opportunities must consider the impact on the environment as the ways in which energy is used is becoming ever more critical.

Types of Systems We Provide
- V-Bank Dry Air Blast Coolers are space efficient and regarded as being environmentally friendly.
- Hybrid Air Blast Coolers can improve the efficiency of water towers whilst using only 5% of the water for the same duty)
- Water Towers provide efficient heat dissipation, improved temperate control and provide an all-round cost-effective cooling solution.
- Chiller Systems are ideal for large scale industrial applications, offering precise temperature control and versatility in cooling applications.
- Mixed Systems for efficiency modulating during different seasons

Hybrid Adiabatic Cooling for Minimum Water Consumption
- Ambient air at high temperature passes through the adiabatic chamber
- In the chamber, spray nozzles create a thick mist of water
- The humidification of the air drops the temperature before it reaches the coils
- A microprocessor automatically controls the sprayed water volume
- Finned coils are kept completely dry and free of scale
