LTHW (Low Temperature Hot Water) process cooling systems often require a pumping system with standby functionality. Some also require expansion vessels, dosing capacity and automatic top-up for maintaining system pressure. Depending on the system, circuit control via flow, pressure or temperature and conductivity monitoring may also be required.
integratedAIR Systems can include these features in a single, prefabricated pumping skid, which is managed by a PLC control panel. The controls can be pre-wired and tested to ensure a system is delivered that you can simply plug and play for ease of use. It’s a simple yet highly effective system that can solve multiple issues without having to undergo a major overhaul.
How Does a Prefabricated Packaged Pump Skid Work?
Inline or end suction pumps are installed, which help to correct system pressure and the flow requirements of your machinery. These typically consist of the base, pipework and ancillary equipment such as valves, dirt and air separators and fill units.
For ease of use, a control panel can also be mounted onto the base. The skid pumps and all instrumentation are prewired and tested so they can be integrated into any pipework system. Pumps will then be operated as required by pushing the fluid around the circuit it has been added to.
